HooRWA Summer Intern

The Hoosic River Watershed Association seeks to improve the river and the lives of those who live in its 720-square-mile catchment. Among other duties, the intern would assist in determining if bridges and culverts in the watershed are sized appropriately and allow for wildlife passage. More information

Sheep Hill/CES Summer Internship

An opportunity to learn about the Williamstown Rural Lands Foundation and how it works within the community, to help develop some of the educational outreach at Sheep Hill, to experience first hand the issues involved in non-profit and land management, and to inspire visitors to Sheep Hill to think about the land and their relationship to it. WRLF Summer Trail Steward

Team with the Williams Outing Club Quay Scholar to work on a variety of trail maintenance and improvement projects on trails managed by WOC, the Williamstown Rural Lands Foundation, and in partnership with other area organizations and agencies. More information

Scientific/Research Assistant – Summer HMF/CES Lab

Work in the Environmental Analysis Lab on campus and maintenance of weather station and stream gauging equipment in Hopkins Memorial Forest (HMF). Will also work in conjunction with the Technical Assistant and CES faculty on the long-term environmental databases. More information
