Environmental Studies Senior Awards 2014

Graduation 2014

The senior environmental studies prizes were awarded at the CES graduation reception on June 7.

Environmental Science major Sonja Thalheimer received the Hardie Award for the best student work in environmental studies for her thesis “Edible Forest Gardening at the Clark Art Institute.”

Zoe Grueskin won the Rosenburg Prize in Environmental Studies for outstanding scholarship and potential for solving environmental problems.

The Scheffey Award went to Helen Song in recognition of her outstanding environmental leadership.

Katy Newcomer was presented with the Environmental Studies Committee award for outstanding contributions to the environmental studies community at Williams.

As always we are sad to say goodbye to our graduates, but we wish them all a bon voyage and hope they will stay in touch.
