On Class Day we honor our senior Environmental Studies majors and concentrators and present awards to some of our outstanding seniors.
Allison Rowe was presented with the Rosenburg Prize in Environmental Studies for scholarship and potential for solving local, national and international environmental problems.

Mary Kate O’Brien and Anne Epstein were the winners of the Environmental Studies Committee award for their commitment and contributions to the environmental studies community at Williams.

The Tom Hardie Memorial Award for the best student work in environmental studies was presented to three students: Alison Hill, for her paper, “Do Floodplains Delineations Decrease Property Values?”; Meagan Goldman, for her paper, “The Woods: An Exploration of Grief, Place, and Regrowth;” and Claire Swingle, for her paper, “Ambition and Fairness: Understanding Equity through Intended Nationally Determined Contributions.” The papers may be found on the CES website at : http://ces.williams.edu/publications/student-papers/tom-hardie-papers/
