Located in Lowell, MA, TerraCorps is an AmeriCorps affiliated start-up environmental non-profit preparing and mobilizing emerging leaders to help communities gain access to and conserve land for people and nature. Working at the intersection of the land conservation and urban agriculture movements, our vision is to create a future where land is the foundation of health and well-being for ALL people in EVERY community.
The Chief Financial Officer is the keeper of all corporate accounting and financial practices for a non-profit with revenues approaching $2 million annually. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the CFO is a key member of our leadership team who is eager to work across all levels of the organization on tasks large and small—from delivering financial reports to the Board and Finance Committee—to managing foundation and government grant reporting—to tax and audit preparation—to bookkeeping, processing payroll, and benefits administration. TerraCorps is a rapidly growing non-profit and the CFO will have a unique opportunity to contribute to our success by developing advanced financial systems to support strategic budget forecasting, cash flow analysis and liquidity, and full-cost coverage

Compensation: Salary commensurate with experience; Health & supplemental insurance benefits, retirement plan w/company match, FSA, Paid time off (3 weeks vacation, 10 holidays, 8 personal, Sabbatical after 5 years), paid parking, and a flexible schedule.
