Communities Responding to Extreme Weather (CREW)

Internship Announcement: Are you interested in learning about climate resilience and helping prepare communities for the impacts of climate change? Join Communities Responding to Extreme Weather (CREW) for an internship this summer! CREW is a new program sponsored by 350 Massachusetts that aims to build sustainable, equitable, and collaborative grassroots climate resilience through education, service, and planning. This spring we are launching a pilot program to support three neighborhood-based teams in Massachusetts develop and implement strategies to address local climate impacts.
CREW is hiring one full-time intern for summer 2018 to be based in Cambridge, MA. The intern would help us organize and carry out CREW’s 2-day neighborhood climate resilience conference, create educational materials, and continue to develop relationships with our volunteers, pilot CREWs, and community partners. Interested applicants should email Craig Altemose, CREW’s Executive Director, with a resume and cover letter ([email protected]). Visit our website (www.climatecrew.org) to learn more about CREW’s work.
