Work or Volunteer for Rivers
CRC is hiring! We are looking for seasonal Field Managers, an Event Planning Assistant, and a Communications & Events Intern. Visit our website for details and application instructions. Apply or spread the word, thanks!

This spring we will continue our volunteer river herring monitoringsurveys in MA & CT. There will be a virtual River Herring Observation Training on Monday, March 29 at 5:30-6:30PM. Join us to learn more, including how to identify herring.
For this community science program, volunteers visit their local rivers in MA & CT and report back how many of these migratory fish they see. These data help state and federal partners track population health and support efforts to keep the river full of life!
A New River Recreation Tool
The new Connecticut River Paddlers’ Trail app launched this week! It’s a great way to navigate the Connecticut River, particularly for multi-day trips. Are you ready for an adventure or want to get away from it all? This trip and this tool are for you!
You can get the app in CRC’s online store or search for Guthook Guides in your smartphone app store. The guide is a $9.99 in-app purchase from Guthook Guides. Proceeds support trail stewardship projects.

While you’re browsing CRC’s online store, check out the maps, books, hats, and other gear to help you explore rivers safely. REMEMBER the water is cold, even if the air is warm. Stay safe out there, friends!
