Subject: RE: Williams Students seeking Environmental Summer Internships

Hi, Sarah:

EBRPD offers paid summer internships per the info below, but I am not sure about the timing of when they are posted, most likely in March and perhaps after your application deadlines.  Please see below for more info:

AGMs, Chiefs, and Managers:

The request period is now open for the 2015 Summer Term Intern requests to be submitted to my attention by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, February 27, 2015.  This deadline is firm in order to thoroughly evaluate all requests, determine those approved (funded by HR or by your division in some cases), draft the recruitment materials, and prepare to open the recruitment by March.

Please pass this information along to supervisors in your division who may be interested in requesting a summer intern.  As a reminder, the internship must be one-time project work that is enriching for the student and can be completed in a maximum of 375 hours.  These are paid internships (presently $14.37 per hour).  Be sure to complete the required two forms including routing through, ranking, and signing by your AGM.

Let me know if you have any questions.

The EBRPD HR contact is Bismarck Blanco at [email protected] if you wish to learn more, or check out our web site at http://www.ebparks.org.

Best regards,
