All Green Team Summer Internship staff work closely with one another to build a collaborative and engaging
work environment. Positions are overseen by the Program Manager and Service Learning Coordinator. Two
weeks of orientation/training are provided at the beginning of the season, and weekly staff meetings are held to
provide ongoing training and support.
In some cases, slight adjustments to start and end dates can be made, but must be approved during the interview
process. Groundwork Somerville cannot provide direct compensation for these positions, but we encourage
individuals to look for funding sources, including from their college or university, or through other summer
internship funding programs like The Forest Foundation.
