Cook Inletkeeper is 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting the Cook Inlet watershed and the life it sustains, founded with settlement funds won in 1995 after the Exxon Valdez Oil Spill. Over the past twenty-five years, Inletkeeper has become a leader in the Alaska conservation movement, pioneering novel science, organizing and advocacy efforts to press for corporate accountability, government transparency and lasting social change.
