Conservation Intern!
Looking for an exciting summer job contributing to land conservation in New Mexico?
The New Mexico Land Conservancy (NMLC) is a non-profit land conservation organization, based in Santa Fe, New Mexico, dedicated to conserving New Mexico’s land heritage.
NMLC seeks a qualified and motivated individual to assist with stewardship, land conservation, outreach, and fundraising activities in support of the organization’s mission.  NMLC’s primary focus is the conservation of large landscapes, including natural habitat and working farms and ranches.
NMLC’s Conservation Intern will learn about conservation real estate, land and easement monitoring and stewardship, and non-profit operations and management through hands-on experience with a statewide land trust. This position will be largely field-based and allow the intern to travel across the beautiful and diverse landscapes of New Mexico. Students and recent graduates focusing on natural resource management, land use planning, geography, biological/environmental sciences, or a related field are encouraged to apply.
