The Center for Environmental Studies is seeking an intern to perform GIS research and map making for Hopkins Memorial Forest (HMF). Under the guidance of the HMF Manager and an OIT specialist, the student will work independently to review relevant data, occasionally collect field data, and design maps and story maps focused on the recreational uses of HMF. In particular, the student will receive training and gain skills in publishing maps to a web platform. The student must already have demonstrated knowledge and skill with GIS to perform the work of the internship. This full-time position covers 10 weeks and pays $510 per week.
