Berkshire Natural Resources Council
Williams Summer Intern Position Description
The Berkshire Natural Resources Council, a private, non-profit land trust based in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, is offering an outdoor-recreation internship to a Williams Summer Intern who is exploring a career in the environmental field. The property includes high elevation beaver ponds, vernal pools, glacial erratics, geologic formations, and lies atop the historic Hoosac Tunnel.
Other tasks will include educating users about BNRC and Leave No Trace principles along with planning and leading outreach events. The intern may also help with trail maintenance, checking/maintaining boundaries and mapping trails and other features.
