Scientific/Research Assistant – Summer HMF/CES Lab

2 positions available 9 weeks; scheduling for part of the summer possible. Stipend: $3600 includes housing requires purchase of board plan (7-20 meals/wk)

Responsibilities: work in the Environmental Analysis Lab on campus and maintenance of weather station and stream gaging equipment in Hopkins Memorial Forest (HMF). Will also work in conjunction with the Technical Assistant and CES faculty on the long-term environmental databases.

Qualifications: Laboratory skills are required and previous field experience a plus. Experience with Excel and other spreadsheet and graphics software would be valuable. Preference will be given to Williams College students who are self-motivated, reliable, and work well independently with minimal supervision.
