Williamstown Agricultural Internship

Williamstown Agricultural Internship

The full-time Williamstown Agricultural Internship provides a twofold opportunity to delve into our local agricultural economy for 8-10 weeks in the summer of 2016 (dates flexible).
First, the Intern will serve as an assistant at the Williamstown Farmers Market (WFM), promoting and managing the lively Saturday markets at the base of Spring Street. Tasks include interacting with vendors, staffing market information booth, arranging musicians and special events, and writing promotional materials for WFM’s Facebook page and website.

Second, the Intern work on research projects in connection with the Center for Environmental Studies to explore the economics and/or operations of our farms and farming, as well as their impact on the local and regional community and economy.
